About 6 feet of this chimney was disassembled, the brick were cleaned and then the chimney was reassembled using the original brick.

AfterThis chimney was torn down to about two feet below the roofline. All of the brick were salvaged and cleaned. To meet the building code, the chimney was then raised slightly higher (using only the original brick). The concrete cap was reformed/repoured and the original chase was reinstalled.

Another example of bad masonry. Everything in this area was deteriorating. There was also a drainage issue with respect to the concrete height and the door.
Here is the finished product. The brick were reclaimed and reused. The old concrete was busted up and repoured to a different height. Drainage grooves were added.
